NOT DONE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE IN OUR LOCAL COMPETITION)

 1.  Included below Instructions for completing the Delegate Contract.

            2.  Included below are Instructions for creating the SpotFund Account

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING


IMPORTANT NOTE:  Once you pay the $49.99 Fee (this is an automatic subscription 

renewal every year; if you are not planning to compete the next year, cancel you 

subscription by contacting: Ryan@missamerica.org).


 After you make your payment, you will receive an e-mail from

 Miss America to complete a Contract.

You must complete the Contract immediately as well as provide the 

required eligibility forms; the required

 forms are identified in the Instructions above.

 (DO NOT CLOSE OUT OF THE CONTRACT BEFORE

 YOU COMPLETE IT OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT GET BACK TO THE CONTRACT).

 AND TELEPHONE NUMBER THROUGHOUT

 YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS.



Once you complete the Delegate Contract and submit it,you will receive a

 notification from Miss America which will ask you to register for a local

 competition.  This is where you will go in and select

 'California' and then  the 'Miss Los Angeles County Competition'.



After you submit your Contract, you will receive another e-mail (SO PLEASE LOOK

 FOR THE E-MAIL) from Miss America about creating your SpotFund Account.  The

 link you are provided is specifically for you.  You will now create your Account AND

 this is where you need to raise $30.00 for the American Heart Association.  (You do 

not

 need to raise more than the $30.00 per local competition.)  

Please 

remember this is required for every local you are in.  If

 you are competing in subsequent competitions, you must create subsequent 

profiles within your main SpotFund Account and raise $30.00 for that local

 competition.  (DO NOT CREATE A NEW SPOTFUND ACCOUNT)

Additional Documents to be e-mailed to me:

1.  Birth Certificate (copy) or a Passport (copy

2.  Driver's License (copy) or Driver's Learner Permit; or, Valid State Identification

     Card

3.  Two (2) Additional Eligibility Documents Required.  Can be any two (2) from the

     list below: 

     a.  Current Voter Registration Card in Applicant's Name

     b.  Current lease in Applicant's name for housing in the State and or Local area

     c.  Current utility bill in Applicant's name for address within the State and/or

          Local area. Bill must be dated 6 months months prior to the date of our

          competition.

     d.  Current vehicle registration in Applicant's name issued from State of 

          California.  

     e.  Federal student loan correspondence or notices on which Applicant is named 

          primary or secondary in the state of California.

     f.  Employment Status:  a.  Payment Stub (must be dated 6 months prior to the 

         date of our competition and must be employed 40 hours per week).  OR:  b.  

         W2 Form; OR:  c.  Income tax filing

     g.  Enrollment in School as a full-time student:  Provide copy of Transcript or 

          certification by the school registrar of enrollment.

     h.  Vehicle Registration

-      All Candidates are required to purchase Rebel Wear (Miss America 

       Line  in the color, RED, for the Fitness Competition.  See link below
   
       to the Rebel Wear web site as well as instructions to follow when 

       purchasing.  You may purchase any of the RED designs (NOTE:  The 

       RED designs page 1 on the Rebel Athletic web site).
